AI Engineer Intern

About this role

About the role: - Create and integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning applications using Python - Build and deploy systems leveraging REST APIs and FastAPI frameworks - Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and applications powered by large language models - Participate in designing and constructing AI Agents and Agentic RAG systems - Work across the full stack of modern AI infrastructure including language models, APIs, databases, vector databases, embeddings and retrieval mechanisms - Refine prompts and explore generative AI capabilities through experimentation - Own the complete lifecycle of AI solutions from initial development through testing, debugging and performance optimization What we're looking for: - Currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering or a closely related discipline - Solid command of Python programming - Foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, large language models and retrieval-augmented generation techniques - Demonstrated experience building real projects involving AI Agents, RAG systems, Agentic RAG or LLM-driven applications - Strong capacity for breaking down complex problems and thinking through them analytically - Self-directed learner who can pick up new tools and frameworks quickly in a fast-moving AI environment - Ability to write clean, maintainable code and communicate clearly about technical work
