About this role
What you'll work on: - Contribute code to live products that reach millions of users, with your work going live to production during the internship. - Take on meaningful engineering tasks from your opening month, not observational or training-only work. - Partner closely with a dedicated mentor who guides you through projects and helps you grow. About the role: - You'll be embedded in teams across HackerRank, learning from experienced software engineers and seeing how they approach real problems. - The internship spans 6 months. - Access to company data, decision-making processes, and cross-functional teams so you understand the full picture of how the business runs. What we're looking for: - Engineering fundamentals: you can write clean code, debug issues, and think through problems systematically. - Curiosity about how systems work and willingness to ask questions and learn quickly. - Ability to work well with others and take feedback from mentors and team members. Good to know: - Strong performance during your internship may lead to a return offer for a full-time role or an extended internship. - This is a performance-based internship with the possibility of a PPO.
