Data Science Intern

Batch: 2025/2026/2027. About the role: - Pull financial information from databases Houlihan Lokey has access to and readying it for analysis - Transform raw data into structured formats using Python and Dataiku for further processing - Load and manage data within Snowflake infrastructure - Perform quantitative analysis on datasets using spreadsheet functions including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH and other advanced formulas - Build interactive visual reports and dashboards in Power BI or Tableau that make data trends and business insights accessible to stakeholders - Develop and share documentation on Excel workflows to establish repeatable processes across the team What we're looking for: - Currently completing your final year of an undergraduate degree or recently graduated - Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Statistics or Data Science from a respected institution - Demonstrated excellence in your academic performance - Comfort with Excel and strong quantitative reasoning - Working knowledge of SQL and Python - Fluent in English, both written and spoken - Clear genuine interest in data science as a career path - Previous experience as an intern in data analysis or data science roles - Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels - Ready to thrive in a high-pace, demanding environment that offers genuine growth How to apply: - Available for full-time work during the internship period
