About the role: - Support the procurement of goods and services for HP's operations - Handle vendor identification, onboarding, and purchase order management - Execute commodity strategies and help the team meet business controls What you'll do: - Process purchase requests and perform procurement and financial checks - Use automated tools to standardize fulfillment processes and supplier management - Work with business owners to identify and bring on vendors - Track key performance indicators to monitor and benchmark procurement activities - Build and improve relationships with current, potential, and past suppliers - Collaborate across departments to meet compliance requirements and commodity objectives - Stay current with industry trends and suggest process improvements - Train employees on procurement processes and tools What they're looking for: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience - 0-2 years of experience, ideally in procurement, category management, or operations - Knowledge of procurement, supplier management, supply chain management, SAP applications, and category management - Skills in cost reduction, strategic sourcing, invoicing, and key performance indicators - Ability to communicate effectively, learn quickly, and work collaboratively Good to know: - Full-time role based in Bangalore on the first shift - Preferred certifications: Certified In Production And Inventory Management, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Professional In Supply Management
