Software Engineering in Test (SET) Intern

About the role: - Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure software quality and reliability across HugoHub's products - Design test cases and test scenarios that cover both functional and edge-case scenarios - Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to understand features and define testing strategies - Execute manual tests when needed and document results clearly for the development team - Identify, reproduce and report bugs with detailed information to help engineers fix issues quickly What you'll work on: - Writing test automation scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools - Creating test plans and documentation for new features and releases - Analyzing test coverage and recommending improvements to testing processes - Troubleshooting test failures and investigating root causes - Contributing to continuous integration and deployment pipelines What we're looking for: - Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies - Familiarity with at least one programming language commonly used in test automation - Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to think critically about edge cases - Clear communication skills to document findings and work effectively with engineering teams - Willingness to learn new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment
