About the role
- Lead the architecture and development of core software systems from the ground up at an early-stage AI company
- Set technical direction and establish engineering best practices as a founding team member
- Own end-to-end ownership of critical product features and infrastructure components
- Guide technical decisions that shape the company's technology foundation
- Mentor and work closely with other engineers as the team scales
What you'll work on
- Building machine learning infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Designing scalable backend systems and data processing workflows
- Developing production-ready AI applications and integrations
- Creating robust APIs and service layers for internal and external consumption
- Establishing monitoring, logging, and debugging frameworks from scratch
What we're looking for
- Strong systems design and software architecture experience
- Proven ability to ship production code quickly and reliably
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and deployment
- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Track record of technical leadership or mentorship
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to wear multiple hats
