About the role: - Transform trading requirements into technical specifications while collaborating across teams to build innovative, scalable solutions - Maintain and operate trading systems to ensure consistent uptime and stability in the production trading environment - Manage, schedule and oversee modifications to trading software using AI-assisted tools to deploy changes securely and deliver new features quickly - Build automation solutions that reduce manual overhead and boost operational efficiency - Strengthen trading strategies and the underlying infrastructure that supports them - Establish and sustain connectivity with market exchanges, working through technical challenges alongside exchange partners - Leverage AI tools to speed up incident diagnosis and find root causes, then drive systemic improvements in reliability and performance What you'll work on: - Incident response and troubleshooting in fast-paced trading environments where downtime has real consequences - System design and optimization for high-volume, low-latency workloads - Infrastructure automation and configuration management across distributed systems - Collaboration with software engineers, traders and business teams to align technical decisions with business goals What we're looking for: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or Technology - Deep knowledge of Linux system administration and operations - Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment - Strong grasp of networking concepts including TCP/IP, UDP and related protocols - Solid programming skills in Python and shell scripting - Track record of deploying, running and troubleshooting high-performance applications in production - Experience using AI tools for development, troubleshooting, automation or incident analysis in real engineering work - Self-directed mindset with genuine curiosity about engineering problems - Strong collaborator who communicates clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience with Puppet, Prometheus or Grafana is desirable but not mandatory
