AI Software Engineer Intern

About the role: - Develop and deploy artificial intelligence solutions for real client engagements and live production systems - Work on generative AI applications, including building with large language models and designing AI agents - Construct and refine retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and automation workflows - Integrate machine learning models into applications, working directly with APIs and vector databases - Participate in a fast-paced startup setting where you'll own projects from conception through deployment What you'll work on: - Hands-on implementation of AI agents and LLM-based applications - Prompt engineering and embedding optimization for improved model performance - Building practical, production-grade systems that solve real business problems - Experimenting with new techniques and tools to push the boundaries of what's possible - Collaborating with the team to ship features and solutions to actual users What we're looking for: - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related discipline - Demonstrated experience from prior AI or ML projects; portfolio or GitHub work required - Deep familiarity with generative AI, large language models, and AI agent design patterns - Proficiency in Python and hands-on knowledge of mainstream AI/ML libraries and frameworks - Working knowledge of APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and how to connect models to applications - Problem-solving mindset with the drive to take full ownership of challenges - Enthusiasm for engineering, experimentation, and the craft of building systems ready for production - Comfort operating in a lean startup environment alongside real clients and live projects Note: Email your AI work + resume
