AI + Software Engineering Intern (+PPO)

About the role

• You'll build and deploy features across web, mobile, and client-side AI applications, moving work from conception through to live production
• You'll engage with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, multi-model routing systems, and tool-use implementations
• Frontend work involves creating user interfaces and functionality using React and Next.js
• Backend development uses Python to support your product features
• You'll debug issues, optimize performance, and refine features based on real-world use

What we're looking for

• Strong grasp of core programming concepts with the drive to acquire new skills quickly
• Working knowledge of React, Next.js, and/or Python
• Genuine curiosity about AI systems and large language models; hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into projects is valued
• Self-motivated approach to work, capable of managing tasks independently from start to finish and taking ownership of what you build
• Ability to work effectively without constant guidance

Good to know

• Background in retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, or model fine-tuning strengthens your application
• A GitHub profile, personal projects, or shipped side work demonstrates your capabilities
• This is an internship with the option of conversion to a permanent role (PPO)
