SDE-2 Backend Engineer

About this role

Batch: 2020/2021/2022/2023. What you'll do: - Drive medium-to-complex feature delivery end-to-end (design → deployment → monitoring). - Own critical backend services/microservices with defined SLAs for performance, latency, scalability, and reliability. - Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable microservice-based architectures. - Lead RCAs, own production incidents, and implement preventive fixes. - Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar on code quality and engineering practices. - Work directly with cross-functional teams. What we're looking for: - 3–5 years of backend development experience (Node.js / Java / Django). - Strong experience designing, developing, and owning production-grade microservices. - Strong SQL + NoSQL expertise (schema design, indexing, performance tuning). - Hands-on cloud deployment ownership (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Daily use of observability tools (Sentry/Datadog/CloudWatch/New Relic). - Comfortable with LLD & HLD system design. - Uses AI tools (Copilot/Cursor/ChatGPT/Claude) as a genuine productivity multiplier. - Experience in product-based or high-growth tech companies preferred.
