About the role: - Internship in AI engineering with JanAI, working on projects that leverage modern AI technologies - Focus on practical problem-solving and hands-on development in a fast-paced environment - Opportunity to work with AI tools, large language models, and machine learning applications What you'll work on: - Building and deploying AI-driven projects from conception through production - Collaborating with engineers to integrate AI capabilities into functional systems - Learning the inner workings of LLMs and contemporary AI frameworks - Solving complex technical challenges and shipping solutions that real users interact with What we're looking for: - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline - Solid grounding in data structures, APIs and databases - Fluency in at least one programming language such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript - Portfolio of completed projects that you've put into the hands of actual users - A mindset of curiosity and rapid learning; ability to pick up new concepts and explain your reasoning - Demonstrated capacity to tackle difficult problems independently and articulate your solution process Bonus qualifications: - Prior work with LLMs, AI platforms or machine learning initiatives - Deep interest in understanding how AI systems function at a technical level - Proficiency in an Indian language in addition to English How to apply: - Submit a link to a deployed project, live application or demo (GitHub repositories, hosted URLs or recorded demonstrations all work) - Write 2–3 sentences describing the most challenging technical problem you've solved and your approach to solving it - Bring your strongest work; thoughtful portfolios matter more than polished CVs What matters to us: - How you approach problems and think through solutions - Your ability to build tangible things and see them through to deployment - Your drive to understand new technologies and grow as an engineer - You don't need to arrive with mastery of AI—we're looking for capability and hunger to learn Note: Share a link to something you've built and deployed (GitHub, live URL or demo video), plus 2–3 lines on the hardest problem you've solved and how you figured it out.
