Associate Software Engineer Intern

About the role: - Build and refine software solutions working alongside experienced engineers in a structured internship environment - Write clean, well-documented code that follows object-oriented design principles - Debug complex systems using industry-standard development tools - Develop and run unit and functional tests to catch issues early - Work with source control systems to manage code changes and collaborate with the team What we're looking for: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - Strong command of object-oriented programming and modern development practices - Hands-on experience debugging code, ideally with Visual Studio or Code Warrior - Ability to write and automate tests using standard or proprietary testing frameworks - Clear communication skills, both in writing documentation and discussing technical concepts with teammates - Solid analytical mindset with a talent for troubleshooting when things go wrong Additional skills that stand out: - Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN, CVS, VSS, or similar tools - Background in or exposure to logistics, container terminal operations, or supply chain management - Experience developing real-time graphical applications or user interfaces
