Batch: 2025/2026/2027. About the role: - Develop embedded software solutions on microcontroller and microprocessor platforms, working closely with hardware and firmware teams - Write, test, and debug C code for embedded systems and Linux environments - Participate in the full lifecycle of embedded software development, from architecture to deployment - Contribute to device driver development and optimization for various embedded platforms - Collaborate with senior engineers to solve complex hardware-software integration challenges What you'll work on: - C programming for embedded systems and bare-metal applications - Linux kernel development and device driver implementation - Microcontroller and microprocessor programming across ARM, Intel, AMD, STMicroelectronics, PIC, or similar architectures - Real-time operating system (RTOS) concepts and implementation - Build system configuration using Makefiles - Software testing, debugging, and quality assurance for embedded platforms - Python scripting for automation and testing purposes - Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows What you'll need: - Proficiency in C programming with demonstrated ability to write efficient, maintainable code - Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms with application to embedded contexts - Knowledge of at least one microprocessor or microcontroller architecture such as ARM, Intel, AMD, STMicroelectronics, or PIC - Deep understanding of Linux internals or RTOS design principles - Experience with hands-on microcontroller or microprocessor work through academic projects, personal projects, or prior internships - Familiarity with Git and version control workflows - Ability to read and work with Makefile-based build systems - Basic Python knowledge for scripting and automation - Understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices - Comfort working directly with hardware boards, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and embedded debugging tools - Strong analytical mindset and persistence in troubleshooting and problem-solving - Eagerness to develop expertise in embedded systems under technical guidance Preferred experience: - Hands-on involvement with Linux device driver development - Portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing embedded systems projects - Ability to articulate project architecture, implementation choices, technical obstacles encountered, debugging strategies, and your specific role in delivery Eligibility: - Graduating in 2027 or graduated in 2026 - Computer Science or Electronics & Communication Engineering background preferred - Based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad Internship details: - Duration: Approximately 4–5 months - Format: Onsite in Hyderabad - You will be assigned to one or more of 8 specialized domain tracks based on project needs and your interests Application requirements: - Describe your most relevant projects involving C, embedded systems, Linux, device drivers, microcontrollers, or microprocessors - Share a GitHub or portfolio link if available - Be prepared to discuss your project's architecture, technical implementation, challenges you faced, how you debugged issues, and what you personally contributed - Indicate which domain track(s) interest you most, if you have a preference Note: Please mention your graduation year, degree/branch, relevant embedded projects, GitHub/portfolio link (if available), preferred domain track(s), and confirmation of availability for the 4–5 month onsite internship in Hyderabad in your application.
