About this role
About the role: - Build and maintain scalable systems that power our infrastructure at Lexsi.ai - Develop automation and orchestration solutions for managing large-scale deployments - Optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS services including EC2, ELB, S3, and auto-scaling - Design and implement monitoring, analysis, and logging systems for production environments - Architect solutions that balance performance, cost, and reliability in distributed computing What you'll work on: - Infrastructure-as-code using configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible - Web server setup and optimization using nginx or Apache as reverse proxies and load balancers - Database systems including both relational and NoSQL solutions with focus on MongoDB sharding, clustering, replication, and security - Linux system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting - Network programming and TCP/IP protocol work - Machine learning operations including data preparation, model serving, and compute optimization What we're looking for: - Deep expertise in Python with a track record of building systems that scale - Proficiency writing Python, Bash, C/C++, and Perl scripts - Hands-on experience provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure - Strong command of Git and infrastructure monitoring tools like Graphite - Solid grasp of distributed systems architecture and engineering tradeoffs - Experience with web infrastructure, distributed systems, or component-oriented software design - Knowledge spanning relational databases, document stores, key-value systems, and graph databases Nice to have: - Contributions to open-source projects - Working experience with major machine learning engineering processes - Understanding of both hardware and software load balancing approaches - Background in large software system design and development
