- Create scripts and concepts for educational videos, skill-learning content, explainers, short-form reels, and promotional material for Gyan TV, an edutainment platform in regional languages
- Write engaging stories that make complex or practical topics simple and relatable for audiences across India
- Present on camera when needed, delivering content clearly and with confidence
What you'll do
- Research topics, audience interests, and regional trends to find new content ideas
- Develop hooks, introductions, storytelling formats and calls to action that grab and hold viewer attention
- Adapt scripts and approaches for different audience segments and regional-language viewers
- Create content optimised for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and other digital platforms
- Work with video editors, language experts, and marketing teams to plan and execute videos
- Support production by coordinating scripts, shoot requirements, and creative direction
- Review performance and engagement data to improve content
- Pitch ideas for promotional videos and campaigns to grow Gyan TV viewership
- Explore new formats and trends in educational storytelling
What they're looking for
- 0–4 years of experience in video content creation, scriptwriting, content creation, or digital media, or you're a fresher with strong creative and communication skills
- Strong Hindi and English writing and communication skills; Kannada or other regional languages are a plus
- Excellent storytelling and ability to explain topics simply and engagingly
- Knowledge of YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, educational videos and explainer formats
- Comfortable presenting on camera with good presentation skills
- Basic video editing knowledge (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar) is helpful
- Strong research skills, attention to detail, and willingness to experiment
- Interest in education, skill development, edutainment and regional-language content
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Business or related field is preferred but not required
