About the role: - Build user interfaces for an AI-powered product using React and Next.js - Work across frontend development and AI integration to create interactive experiences - Contribute to features that blend traditional UI patterns with large language model capabilities What you'll work on: - Develop interactive product interfaces—editors, canvases, dashboards, and stateful components that users interact with daily - Integrate AI functionality into frontend applications, moving beyond basic chatbot patterns into more sophisticated workflows - Build features that leverage frontier or open source language models within a production interface - Refine user experience where AI capabilities meet interactive design What we're looking for: - Proficiency in Python and TypeScript or JavaScript - Demonstrated experience building interactive product UIs with real state management, not marketing or content sites - Hands-on work with large language models beyond course materials or tutorials - Current use of AI tools in your own development practice, applied skillfully rather than experimentally - Solid frontend foundation with React and Next.js Bonus experience: - Familiarity with editor frameworks such as TipTap or ProseMirror - Understanding of collaborative editing technologies including CRDTs or Yjs - Exposure to agentic AI systems and multi-step reasoning workflows
