AI/ML Engineering Intern (+PPO)

About the role: - Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to build, train and refine AI models that solve real-world problems - Participate in the full model lifecycle, from data preparation and preprocessing through training, evaluation and deployment - Collaborate with engineers and researchers to integrate models into production systems and cloud environments - Debug, optimize and troubleshoot models to improve performance and accuracy - Document your work and share findings with the team What we're looking for: - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering or a closely related discipline - Proficiency in Python for building and experimenting with machine learning solutions - Working knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch and Keras for model development - Solid grasp of deep learning architectures including CNNs, RNNs, Transformers and LLMs - Hands-on experience or clear understanding of model training, data preprocessing, hyperparameter tuning and model evaluation techniques - Exposure to deploying models to production or test environments - Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes - Comfort using Git and working with version control in a team setting - Strong problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking when approaching technical challenges - Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work effectively alongside colleagues Good to know: - A pre-placement offer (PPO) may be available upon successful completion of the internship
