About the role: - Design, develop, and test robotic systems alongside the team, contributing to automation solutions from concept through deployment. - Write and refine Python or C++ code tailored to robotics applications and hardware integration. - Work hands-on with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators to bring systems to life. - Integrate hardware components with robotic software, ensuring seamless communication between physical and digital layers. - Identify and resolve issues in both hardware and software through systematic testing, troubleshooting, and debugging. - Collect performance data from robotic systems and analyze results to identify optimization opportunities. - Investigate emerging technologies including ROS/ROS 2, computer vision, IoT, and embedded systems as project needs dictate. - Engage in team technical discussions, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative project planning. - Maintain clear documentation of your development work, testing methods, results, and technical discoveries. - Share project updates and key findings with senior team members through presentations and reports. What we're looking for: - Foundational knowledge of robotics principles and automation concepts. - Demonstrated competence in Python or C/C++ programming. - Prior experience or hands-on familiarity with Raspberry Pi or Arduino platforms. - Basic grasp of how sensors, actuators, and embedded systems function within larger systems. - Genuine enthusiasm for learning ROS/ROS 2 and deepening robotics software skills. - Strong problem-solving mindset and analytical approach to technical challenges. - Comfort working directly with hardware and software in real, hands-on engineering projects.
