About the role: - As a frontend engineer joining Mygate, you will design and build user interfaces that power our platform, working with modern web technologies to create responsive and performant applications - You'll translate product requirements into clean, functional code and collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and deliver seamless user experiences - Your work will span component development, state management, and optimization of web applications across different devices and browsers What we're looking for: - Strong command of JavaScript including ES6+ syntax and modern language features - Solid grasp of React.js fundamentals including components, props, hooks, and lifecycle methods - Ability to manage application state effectively and choose appropriate state management patterns - Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 with the ability to build responsive designs that work across screen sizes - Experience consuming REST APIs and connecting frontend code to backend services - Comfortable using Git for version control and collaborating on codebases - Deep understanding of JavaScript core concepts, DOM manipulation, asynchronous programming patterns, and browser behavior - Skill in writing code that is clean, modular, and easy for others to maintain and extend - Strong debugging ability and logical approach to solving problems Technical strengths we value: - Knowledge of UI/UX design principles - Experience with TypeScript for type-safe development - Familiarity with Redux or other state management libraries - Exposure to React Query or similar data-fetching libraries - Portfolio of personal, academic, or internship projects built with React.js Who should apply: - Freshers who have built a strong foundation in frontend development - Recent graduates or those with academic projects demonstrating React proficiency - Self-taught developers with a portfolio of work to show
