AI/ML Engineering Intern (+PPO)

About the role: - Work on machine learning and artificial intelligence projects within a fast-paced startup environment - Build and optimize models using contemporary deep learning frameworks and libraries - Develop solutions involving large language models and generative AI applications - Collaborate with the engineering team on end-to-end ML pipeline development What you'll work on: - Designing and implementing machine learning models using Python - Working with data processing and analysis using Pandas and NumPy - Building predictive systems with Scikit-Learn and other ML libraries - Exploring prompt engineering techniques and LLM integration - Creating retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems and architectures - Contributing to codebases using Git and professional development workflows - Experimenting with frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex What we're looking for: - Solid grasp of Python programming fundamentals - Core understanding of machine learning theory and practice - Knowledge of statistical methods and data science principles - Hands-on experience or coursework with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn - Introductory knowledge of deep learning concepts and their applications - Exposure to large language models, prompt engineering, or generative AI work - Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development practices - Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability Would be great to have: - Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow frameworks - Exposure to OpenAI or Anthropic APIs - Knowledge of vector databases and their applications - Background in MLOps practices or containerization with Docker - Cloud platform experience, particularly AWS - Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex ecosystems Good to know: - This role comes with a potential pre-placement offer (PPO) upon successful completion
