About this role
About the role: - This paid remote internship runs for three months, with compensation dependent on performance. What you'll work on: - Develop server-side features and connect REST APIs to web applications. - Implement business rules, authentication and validation. - Store and retrieve application information using SQL or NoSQL databases. - Connect backend services with frontend interfaces and external APIs. - Test and debug services, including performance, reliability and security issues. - Use version control, document API behaviour and coordinate with remote teammates. What we're looking for: - Freshers interested in backend or web development are invited to apply. - Basic programming and object-oriented concepts are expected. - Know a backend language such as Node.js, Python, Java or PHP. - Understand HTTP, JSON, REST, client-server applications and database basics. - Express.js, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Git and application-security knowledge are beneficial. - Communicate clearly, reason through problems and manage remote deadlines.
