About the role: - Develop and deploy applications that run on web browsers, Android devices, and iOS platforms. - Build, refine, and operationalize artificial intelligence and machine learning models applied to concrete problems, spanning large language models, computer vision, and signal processing techniques. - Own the entire stack: craft backend APIs, optimize user-facing interfaces, and ensure smooth performance across systems. - Explore cutting-edge fields including generative AI, process automation, and systems that combine text, image, and audio input. - Write maintainable, performant code using a range of programming languages and development frameworks. - Work alongside experienced backend developers, product designers, and machine learning specialists to prototype and validate new ideas. - Engage in algorithm design, building data pipelines, and automating how systems are built and shipped. What we're looking for: - Strong grasp of problem-solving approaches and computational thinking. - Genuine interest in how machine learning and AI solve real-world business challenges. - Comfort picking up unfamiliar frameworks, libraries, and programming paradigms. - Portfolio of work demonstrating hands-on building: personal projects, coursework, or contributions to open-source repositories. - Drive to stay current with innovation and emerging technical directions. - Background working with wearable devices, sensor data, or machine learning at the edge. - Track record contributing to open-source initiatives or AI-focused projects. - Experience moving technology through its full journey: initial concept, prototype validation, production deployment, and scaling under real-world load. - Enthusiasm for building from concept through finished product without handing off. - Self-directed learner who enjoys experimenting and tinkering with new tools and approaches. - Curiosity about the overlap between machine learning, software engineering, and hardware systems.
