About the role: - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices that power a healthcare platform - Take complete ownership of features from initial system design through development, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing production support - Optimize database performance and API efficiency to build systems capable of scaling reliably - Contribute to clean, testable code and participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and refinement of engineering standards - Leverage AI-powered development tools to speed up delivery, streamline workflows, and boost team productivity What you'll bring: - 3–5 years of backend development experience with production-grade applications - Fluency in Golang, Python, Java, or Node.js - Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles - Working knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, database optimization techniques, microservices architecture, and distributed systems - Hands-on familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous processing, message queues, unit testing, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, with AWS experience preferred - Capacity to deliver complex features independently, resolve production issues, work effectively across teams, and adopt AI coding tools in your workflow What we're looking for: - Engineers who think strategically about system design beyond individual API endpoints - Developers who take ownership and drive reliability and scalability - Problem-solvers energized by building solutions for healthcare - Those who work well with AI-assisted development and continuous learning
