Fullstack Developer (MERN Stack)

About the role: - Build and maintain web applications using the MERN stack, managing both client-side interfaces and server-side systems - Develop robust backend services with Node.js, handling APIs, authentication mechanisms, and business logic - Create responsive, interactive frontends using React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Work with multiple database systems including MongoDB and MySQL to design schemas and optimize queries - Integrate with web servers and deploy applications to production environments - Leverage AI tools to enhance your development workflow while maintaining deep understanding of your codebase What you'll work on: - Implementing RESTful APIs and managing authentication flows for secure user interactions - Building database layers that balance performance and data integrity across relational and document stores - Writing clean, maintainable code that other developers can easily understand and extend - Debugging complex issues across the full stack and optimizing application performance - Collaborating with team members through code reviews and version control workflows What we're looking for: - Strong foundation in backend development principles and core programming concepts that you can articulate clearly - Hands-on experience with Node.js and practical knowledge of the AdonisJS framework - Proficiency in React.js for building dynamic user interfaces - Solid grasp of MySQL and MongoDB, with the ability to choose the right database for each use case - Comfort with Git and standard development practices in collaborative environments - Demonstrated problem-solving ability and logical thinking when facing technical challenges - Capability to pick up new technologies and frameworks independently with minimal guidance - Use of AI as a tool to boost productivity, not as a replacement for technical depth Additional qualifications: - Experience with Agentic AI systems and their integration into applications - Familiarity with jQuery for DOM manipulation and event handling - Knowledge of Apache or other web server configuration - AWS exposure including S3, Lambda, and EC2 - Experience with vector databases or RAG pipeline architectures - Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities - Meticulous attention to detail in code quality and documentation
