DevOps Intern (+PPO)

About this role

About the role: - Work with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies to support Playo's engineering teams - Build and refine automated systems that compile code, store container images, and roll out new versions - Create local development environments using Docker Compose so engineers can test and build without production access - Instrument the system with metrics, traces, and visibility into traffic flowing between services - Implement structured logs and track request flows across the application stack - Analyze cloud spending and identify opportunities to reduce costs What you'll work on: - CI/CD pipelines that trigger builds, run tests, and deploy applications - Container registry management and artifact storage - Microservices observability through telemetry collection and dashboards - Deployment orchestration on cloud infrastructure - Infrastructure monitoring and alerting - Cost optimization strategies for AWS resources What we're looking for: - Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ALB, CodeBuild, ECR, and ECS - Familiarity with Docker and container workflows - Knowledge of Bitbucket Pipelines or similar CI/CD tools - Understanding of CloudWatch, SNS/SQS for monitoring and messaging - Experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation - Ability to design reproducible local environments for teams - Interest in distributed systems and observability practices Good to know: - This internship offers the possibility of conversion to a permanent role (PPO) - You'll gain direct exposure to production infrastructure and modern DevOps practices Note: Subject: Engineering Internship Application: Platform Engineering — Infrastructure & DevOps.
