Platform Engineering — Infrastructure & DevOps Intern

About the role: - Keep build pipelines, container registries and deployment artifacts running smoothly and improving them over time. - Build reproducible local setup environments using Docker Compose that engineering teams can use to develop and test. - Implement metrics collection, distributed request tracing, and real-time traffic visibility across your microservice infrastructure. - Roll out uniform logging practices, ensure request context flows correctly through your systems, and work toward reducing cloud platform costs. What you'll work on: - Strengthening CI/CD automation to speed up releases and reduce manual work. - Containerization and orchestration of applications across development and production environments. - Monitoring and observability—making sure teams can see what's happening in real time. - Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management at scale. - Cloud cost analysis and optimization strategies. - Container image management and artifact distribution. Tech stack: - AWS (EC2, ALB, ECR, ECS, CodeBuild, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS) - Docker and Docker Compose - Bitbucket Pipelines - Ansible What we're looking for: - Hands-on experience or strong understanding of containerization and orchestration. - Familiarity with cloud platforms, ideally AWS. - Interest in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Ability to write clear, maintainable infrastructure code. - Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn modern infrastructure tools. - Communication skills to work across engineering teams.
