About this role
About the role: - PSquare Lab at IIT Roorkee is offering a 6-month paid research position in AI for Engineering. - The position is on-site and focuses on applying modern AI methods to engineering research problems. - Undergraduate students from institutions across India are encouraged to apply, not only students from IITs. Research areas: - Work on AI methods for optimization problems. - Explore foundation models designed for structured and tabular data. - Contribute to other research problems at the intersection of AI and engineering. - Engage with research-oriented machine learning and deep learning problems during the 6-month position. What we're looking for: - Prior hands-on experience with Deep Learning is mandatory. - Undergraduate applicants from any institution are eligible and encouraged to apply. - Candidates with research or publication experience are welcome. - Prior publication experience is not required for consideration. - Applicants should be interested in AI research applied to engineering problems. Good to know: - The stated stipend is up to ₹40,000/month. - The position requires working on-site at IIT Roorkee. - The research engagement lasts for 6 months.
