About this role
About the role: - You will uncover insights from data that actually shape business decisions, moving beyond reports that sit unread. - You will own the turnaround on ad-hoc analysis requests, building AI-assisted workflows that make you measurably faster over time. - You will build dashboards that stakeholders use independently, without needing reminders. - You will develop a reputation for finding the narrative hidden in data that others overlook. What you'll work on: - Translate vague business questions into clearly structured analytical problems that you can solve with limited guidance. - Write complex SQL queries — joins, window functions, large-scale operations on BigQuery or similar platforms — as a core part of your daily work. - Experiment hands-on with AI tools to expand what analytics can do beyond standard reporting. - Build models and validate assumptions quickly in Excel or Google Sheets. - Present numerical findings as clear business narratives rather than raw data. - Work with supply chain, e-commerce, or quick-commerce data where possible. What we're looking for: - A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a similar quantitative discipline. - 1–3 years of hands-on experience in business analytics or data analytics roles. - Supply chain, e-commerce, or quick-commerce background preferred. - Comfort writing advanced SQL queries, not just basic SELECT statements. - Genuine curiosity and a willingness to experiment with AI tools as part of how you work — this is a mindset requirement. - Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets for modeling and quick validation. - Ability to communicate findings as a business story, not a technical data dump. - Sharp communication skills that translate numbers into meaning for non-technical stakeholders. Good to have: - Working experience with Python, particularly pandas, for analysis and automation. - Familiarity with Looker Studio, Metabase, or Power BI. - Prior work with supply chain or logistics datasets, including STO, IWT, inventory, CPT, or DPMO metrics.
