Intern – Python Developer

About the role: - Backend development using Python frameworks to build and maintain server-side applications - Designing and implementing REST APIs that communicate effectively with frontend systems - Writing and executing unit tests to verify code quality and reliability - Participating in code reviews to learn best practices and improve overall code standards - Debugging production issues and optimizing application performance for better user experience - Integrating frontend applications with backend services to create complete workflows - Working with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas and write efficient queries What you'll work on: - Building scalable backend systems using Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks - Managing data with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB based on project requirements - Creating RESTful web services that follow industry standards and conventions - Implementing authentication mechanisms using JWT and OAuth protocols - Containerizing applications using Docker for consistent deployment environments - Monitoring and refining application speed and resource usage - Collaborating with team members through Git version control and code documentation What we're looking for: - Strong foundation in Python programming language - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles - Knowledge of data structures and their appropriate use cases - Experience or familiarity with SQL and database query writing - Understanding of HTTP protocol and JSON data format - Ability to work with Git for version control and collaboration - Quick learner who can adapt to new technologies and frameworks Good to have: - Experience working with Docker and containerization - Exposure to cloud platforms and deployment practices - Comfort with Linux command line and system administration - Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools - Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping libraries - Understanding of token-based authentication standards
