Design and implement automated data pipelines that feed into reporting systems without requiring constant manual intervention.
Transform raw, complex datasets into insights that drive business decisions across the organization.
Blend technical data engineering with strategic thinking about growth and metrics to shape how the company uses data.

Build and optimize SQL queries in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and related database systems, using advanced techniques like window functions, CTEs, and schema design to extract and structure data efficiently.
Set up orchestration workflows that process data on schedules or in response to events, moving results seamlessly into Google Sheets, dashboards, and other downstream systems.
Construct data models that organize information in ways analytics and business teams can actually use, avoiding the mess of raw tables.
Dig into large, unstructured, and incomplete datasets to surface answers to open-ended business questions that don't have obvious solutions.
Build and maintain dashboards in tools like Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker that let stakeholders explore data independently.
Calculate and track business KPIs, then explain what the numbers mean in ways that guide decision-making across teams.

Advanced command of SQL, including window functions, common table expressions, query optimization, and the ability to design schemas that work at scale.
Hands-on experience automating data workflows so outputs land in sheets, BI tools, and other systems with minimal hands-on work each time.
Track record building scheduled and event-driven data processing pipelines using orchestration platforms.
Deep grasp of data modeling principles and how to structure datasets so they're actually analyzable.
Comfort with Excel and proficiency in at least one major BI platform such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Strong working knowledge of business KPIs and demonstrated ability to extract and communicate insights from raw data without needing hand-holding.
Openness to AI-assisted tools and genuine interest in using them to work faster and smarter.
