About the role: - Lead the development and deployment of mid-sized and substantial features that drive the product forward - Work alongside colleagues to tackle larger-scale technical initiatives - Navigate and solve intricate problems that span multiple interconnected systems - Transform vague technical challenges into concrete implementation strategies and see them through with your team - Develop thorough test coverage and uphold code quality and clear documentation standards - Foster connections across engineering, operations, and support to streamline team processes and product delivery What we're looking for: - 3+ years of professional software engineering experience - Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and principles - Track record of designing systems with clear abstractions and well-structured architecture - Familiarity with Python, Go, Django, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and AWS (preferred) About you: - You ship meaningful work with confidence and limited hand-holding - You think systematically about complex dependencies and edge cases - You write tests that matter and documentation that helps your team move faster - You build trust across functions and use it to make the product better
