About the role: - Develop user-facing interfaces using Next.js and React that work smoothly across devices and screen sizes, prioritizing mobile experience - Convert design specifications and mockups into fully functional, production-ready web pages - Manage component state, build and validate forms, handle user input correctly, and connect frontend logic to backend services through APIs What you'll work on: - Writing clean, maintainable code in modern JavaScript or TypeScript - Styling interfaces with Tailwind CSS to ensure consistent design and responsive layouts - Using Git daily to organize your work into feature branches, write meaningful commit messages, and submit clear pull requests - Testing your own work to catch issues before they reach production - Communicating progress to the team, flagging problems as soon as they appear, and asking for help when needed What we're looking for: - Proof of a completed project built with Next.js and React that is live and publicly accessible with a deployed link you can share - Proficiency in Tailwind CSS with a solid understanding of responsive design principles - Competence in TypeScript, or alternatively strong vanilla JavaScript skills - A GitHub account showing genuine commit history and real coding work - Ability to work 20+ hours per week throughout the full internship duration - Comfort taking a written specification and building it from start to finish with minimal guidance - Clear writing skills for status updates, documentation, and early communication of blockers
