About the role: - Build and launch AI products that work reliably in production - Lead features from initial concept through to deployment - Develop agents, implement tool calling, build memory systems, create evaluation frameworks, set up tracing infrastructure, and engineer backend systems that power AI applications What you'll work on: - Designing and implementing AI systems that handle real-world workloads - Making architectural decisions that ensure reliability and performance at scale - Solving problems in production AI deployment, from latency to accuracy to cost - Collaborating with product and design to shape how features evolve What we're looking for: - Strong backend engineering fundamentals and the ability to architect systems - Hands-on experience building and shipping AI systems to actual users - Comfort working directly with large language models and understanding their constraints - A track record of making sound product decisions with incomplete information - Knowledge of how to keep AI systems reliable, predictable and maintainable - Someone who can move fast and take ownership without waiting for detailed specifications Good to know: - We care about results and impact, not the specific languages or frameworks you use Note: Include a short intro about you and your work, your portfolio, and optionally your resume
