Data Scientist

About the role

• You will shepherd machine learning models from early-stage experimentation through to live deployment and beyond, maintaining full ownership of their performance and business impact.
• Your day-to-day work spans the entire model lifecycle: taking prototypes into production systems, setting up monitoring to track how they perform in the real world, and retraining them as data patterns shift.
• You will track business outcomes that result from your models, not just vanity metrics, and drive continuous improvement based on what actually matters to the organisation.

What you'll work on

• Moving models from the lab into production environments where they handle real traffic and real decisions.
• Building and maintaining systems to watch model behaviour in production, catch drift, and trigger retraining when needed.
• Gathering feedback on how your models affect business metrics and using that to guide the next iteration.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience shipping machine learning models to production and managing them there.
• Deep knowledge of the complete machine learning lifecycle, from problem definition through deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• The ability to deploy models, set up monitoring infrastructure, and execute retraining pipelines.
• A mindset focused on business outcomes: you care about revenue, cost savings, customer satisfaction, or whatever metric matters, not just improving model accuracy on a holdout set.
• Strong sense of ownership over the models you build and their real-world performance.
