About the role: - Apply data science and machine learning expertise to production systems serving enterprise customers - Contribute to AI initiatives spanning search, personalization, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge graphs, autonomous agents, and language model evaluation - Participate in fine-tuning workflows and speech AI implementation - Support the infrastructure that powers Simpplr's AI stack What you'll work on: - Real-world projects in enterprise search and personalization engines - Retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and knowledge graph construction - Building and refining agentic AI systems that operate autonomously - Language model evaluation frameworks and fine-tuning methodologies - Speech AI components and related audio processing - Infrastructure decisions that enable machine learning at scale What we're looking for: - Solid grounding in data science fundamentals and statistical methods - Practical experience with machine learning models and Python programming - Knowledge of deep learning architectures and large language models - Ability to take ownership of well-defined problems and ship solutions - Curiosity about how AI systems work in production settings - Comfortable learning new tools and frameworks on the job Good to know: - This internship offers the possibility of conversion to a full-time role upon successful completion
