About this role
About the role: - Design and build database solutions by translating business requirements into structured data models - Write and optimize SQL queries using advanced techniques such as joins, subqueries, common table expressions and window functions - Create and maintain database schemas using DDL and DML operations - Develop ER diagrams and data architecture documentation - Work with relational database management systems to ensure data integrity through proper use of keys, constraints and indexes What we're looking for: - Solid knowledge of RDBMS fundamentals including normalization up to 3NF, primary and foreign key relationships, join operations, and index optimization - Proficiency in SQL including SELECT statements, JOIN operations, GROUP BY clauses, subqueries, CTEs, DDL commands and DML commands - Ability to read, interpret and create entity-relationship diagrams - Strong analytical skills to convert business scenarios and requirements into logical database designs - Meticulous approach to code quality with consistent adherence to naming conventions and documentation practices - Fluent English communication both in writing and conversation Nice to have: - Experience working with SQL Server - Familiarity with C# or .NET development - Python programming knowledge - Exposure to dbdiagram.io for visual schema design - Understanding of DBML for database markup language
