Business QA Intern

About this role

About the role: - Test software features and systems from the perspective of actual business users and stakeholders, going beyond surface-level interface checks - Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, document, and verify fixes for quality issues - Participate in testing cycles aligned with Agile and SDLC practices - Execute both manual test cases and exploratory testing to validate functionality across different scenarios What we're looking for: - Graduating in 2024, 2025, or 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field - Sharp analytical thinking with the ability to structure problems logically and catch inconsistencies - Foundational knowledge of manual testing and functional testing methodologies - Working familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or Java - Understanding of how Agile development and the software development lifecycle work in practice - Strong written and verbal communication paired with a genuine interest in working alongside others - Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing requirements and validating outcomes Nice to have: - Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks including Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and how backend systems interact with frontend applications - Previous internship, course project, or personal work focused on QA, test automation, or product quality - Prior exposure to healthcare platforms, senior living technology, or enterprise SaaS environments
