About this role
About the role: - You will work on real projects within Snowflake's engineering teams, applying your knowledge of core computer science fundamentals to solve meaningful problems. - Your internship will span 4 months or longer, giving you substantial time to contribute and grow. - You'll collaborate with experienced engineers who will mentor you and help you develop professional software engineering skills. What we're looking for: - Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university programme. - Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline. - Completion of coursework covering algorithms, data structures, and operating systems. - Strong command of Python or Java for writing production-quality code. - Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms with the ability to apply them to real problems. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to pick up new technologies quickly. - Experience collaborating effectively within engineering teams. - Genuine interest in security and technology, paired with curiosity and drive to learn. - Working proficiency in English for communication with colleagues. Nice to have: - Prior coursework or familiarity with information security, cryptography, cloud computing, database systems, or distributed systems. - Background or exposure to ML and AI concepts. What you should know: - Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates. - This internship comes with the opportunity to convert to a full-time role upon successful completion (PPO).
