About the role: - State Street is a global financial services company providing infrastructure and services to major investors. - This apprenticeship offers structured training in one of several areas: Fund Accountant, Financial Reporting Specialist, Derivatives Specialist, Financial Accountant, Treasury Accountant, Transfer Agency Administrator, Middle Office Administrator, Pricing Administrator, Risk Analyst, Compliance Analyst, Data Management Analyst, or Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. - You'll receive mentorship and participate in development programs designed to build both technical and professional skills. What you'll do: - The specific responsibilities vary by role but generally involve processing financial transactions, preparing reports, analyzing data, managing compliance, and supporting day-to-day operations in finance and risk management. - Examples include calculating fund net asset values, preparing financial statements, processing derivatives, managing treasury transactions, handling investor accounts, monitoring trade processing, pricing securities, analyzing risk, or reviewing compliance documentation. - You'll work with tools like MS Office, Bloomberg, Reuters, and State Street's proprietary systems. What they're looking for: - Graduates in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred, but any degree is acceptable. - Strong analytical abilities and excellent written and spoken English. - Comfortable with MS Office and databases. - Self-motivated with a sense of personal accountability and a desire to build a career in finance. - Student involvement or leadership experience is valued. - Understanding of professional conduct, risk management principles, and regulatory compliance.
