AI Engineering Intern (+PPO)

About the role: - Build and maintain agentic workflows and AI pipeline systems that solve real-world problems - Develop AI voice agent applications using speech-to-text and text-to-speech technologies - Create and refine conversational systems that sound natural in Indian accents and support multiple languages - Integrate tool calling capabilities into AI agents for expanded functionality - Design and construct retrieval-augmented generation systems and knowledge graphs for robust information handling - Implement evaluation frameworks and monitoring solutions to track production quality and system performance - Write and optimize prompts to guide AI model behavior effectively - Build dashboards and automated workflows using Claude Code or similar tools What you'll work on: - Python or Node.js codebases for AI and machine learning applications - Voice model training pipelines if you have that expertise - Quality assurance and testing frameworks for AI systems - Backend infrastructure including database design, rate limiting, and security protocols - Full-stack development across frontend and backend layers - Integration work connecting multiple AI components into seamless systems What we're looking for: - At least one prior internship focused on AI/ML work or quality-related projects - Hands-on experience building agentic workflows or complete AI pipelines - Track record working with voice agents, STT/TTS systems, or both - Familiarity with prompt engineering approaches and their application - Proficiency navigating GitHub for version control and collaboration - Competence using Google Colab for development and experimentation - Understanding of natural conversation patterns specific to Indian accents and multilingual contexts - Comfort with fundamental backend concepts like databases, rate limiting, and security basics - Experience training voice models is valued - Full-stack capabilities are preferred Good to know: - You'll receive a return offer (PPO) upon successful internship completion - This role suits candidates who want to deepen their AI agent expertise in a production environment
