About the role: - Join as a Software Development Engineer I at Swiggy Instamart, building backend systems that power rapid commerce - Develop and maintain reliable, scalable services handling high-volume transactions across our platform - Write production-grade code that serves millions of users in the quick commerce space - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend solutions What you'll work on: - Backend engineering for e-commerce and logistics systems - Building APIs and microservices in a high-performance environment - Solving complex distributed systems challenges - Optimizing performance and reliability of critical infrastructure What we're looking for: - 1–3 years of full-time software development experience (internships do not count) - Mandatory: Strong hands-on proficiency with Golang - Experience with Gen AI or Agentic AI frameworks (preferred) - Background in e-commerce engineering (highly preferred) - Genuine enthusiasm for tackling intricate technical problems - Drive to build systems that are both dependable and able to scale Good to know: - Office-based role requiring 5 days per week on-site attendance
