About the role: - Build scalable backend systems and services that power Swiggy's delivery and food ordering platform - Write clean, maintainable code in production environments handling millions of daily transactions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features from concept through deployment - Contribute to system architecture decisions and participate in code reviews to maintain engineering standards What we're looking for: - 1-3 years of professional software development experience (internships do not count toward this) - Strong practical experience with Golang for building backend applications - Computer Science degree or equivalent professional foundation - Ability to debug complex systems and optimize performance across the stack - Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and backend infrastructure Preferred qualifications: - Hands-on work with generative AI or agentic AI systems - Recent background in e-commerce platform development - Experience working at scale with high-traffic applications Work arrangement: - Full-time position based in Whitefield, Bangalore - Office-based work five days per week
