About the role: - Examine extensive datasets to uncover patterns and draw actionable business intelligence - Design and implement statistical models and machine-learning algorithms tailored to business problems - Prepare raw data through cleaning, transformation, and construction of meaningful features - Create forecasting models and rigorously test their accuracy and reliability - Generate visual dashboards and comprehensive analytical summaries for stakeholder review - Work alongside product, engineering, and business teams to align analytical work with organizational goals - Install trained models into production systems and continuously track their behavior and impact What we're looking for: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline - Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development - SQL capability for querying and manipulating databases - Solid grounding in statistical theory and probability - Hands-on experience with libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn - Working knowledge of machine-learning model types, assumptions, and best practices - Ability to create clear, compelling visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib - Familiarity with deep learning frameworks or cloud computing platforms is valued but not required
