About this role
About the role: - You will craft and sustain automated test suites that validate software functionality across multiple layers. - Your work spans functional testing, regression analysis, integration testing, and API validation to catch defects before release. - You will detect software issues, document them thoroughly, and track their resolution through the development cycle. - Collaboration with engineering and product teams forms a core part of your day—you'll work alongside them to diagnose root causes and implement fixes. - You'll enhance and refine the automation frameworks and methodologies your team relies on. - Participation in test planning sessions and release readiness checks ensures quality at every milestone. - Integration of test automation into CI/CD workflows will be a regular responsibility, enabling continuous validation. What you'll bring: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline. - Solid grounding in software testing principles and practices. - Hands-on experience with automation frameworks—Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent tools. - Programming competency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. - Familiarity with REST API architecture and the ability to test APIs effectively. - Working knowledge of SQL and relational or non-relational databases. - Comfort working with Git version control and CI/CD platforms. - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to debug issues systematically and solve problems independently.
