About the role: - Build and maintain backend systems serving a trading platform at scale - Design APIs that handle complex workflows including order lifecycle, market data streams, and position tracking - Architect distributed services that process financial transactions reliably and efficiently - Optimize infrastructure and services for high throughput and low latency in a fintech environment What you'll work on: - Systems built in GoLang, C++, Rust, or Java - Microservices and event-driven architectures with message queues and eventual consistency patterns - Database layers using PostgreSQL and Redis for caching, pub/sub, and time-series data - Kubernetes deployments on EKS or GKE with Helm charts and autoscaling policies, containerized with Docker - Real-time WebSocket connections handling 10K+ concurrent users with efficient routing and pub/sub mechanics - APIs for broker and trading platforms, including order management, market data feeds, and wallet or payment flows What we're looking for: - 5–8 years of backend engineering experience - Deep knowledge of distributed systems, microservices patterns, and eventual consistency - Proven work with PostgreSQL, Redis caching and pub/sub, and time-series workloads - Production experience running and scaling Kubernetes clusters with autoscaling policies and Helm - Strong API design discipline: correct response formats, HTTP semantics, pagination, and error handling - Familiarity with WebSocket architecture and pub/sub at scale Bonus: - Background building fintech systems such as payments, wallets, or trading platforms - Hands-on experience with broker or trading platform APIs
