People Operations - Intern

About the role: - Support the people operations function across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and HR administration - Assist with sourcing candidates, screening applications and coordinating interview schedules - Help develop and maintain employee onboarding materials and processes - Support employee engagement initiatives, including internal events and communications - Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements - Work with the team on payroll coordination and benefits administration What you'll work on: - Creating job descriptions and posting openings across platforms - Responding to candidate inquiries and managing application workflows - Drafting welcome packages and first-week orientation guides for new hires - Organizing team gatherings, celebrations and internal communications - Updating employee databases and filing employment documents - Preparing reports on recruitment metrics and team engagement surveys What we're looking for: - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to communicate clearly with candidates and employees - Comfort working with spreadsheets and basic HR systems - Interest in learning how people operations functions within a growing company - Proactive approach to supporting multiple priorities simultaneously
