About the role: - Source and establish relationships with new suppliers across your assigned territory - Explore emerging markets to secure reliable product availability throughout the year - Maintain a 100% fill rate for all assigned product categories - Ensure every delivery meets the agreed quality standards - Coordinate stock movement according to timelines and established protocols - Oversee third-party workforce engaged in sourcing and logistics operations - Complete all required paperwork and maintain compliance with procurement processes - Arrange timely settlement of vendor payments - Conduct direct procurement activities at the farm level - Build and nurture relationships with farming communities in your region What you'll bring: - Between 2 and 4 years of hands-on experience in procurement, supply chain or vendor management - Willingness to travel frequently and work in rural settings - Strong negotiation abilities when discussing terms with suppliers and farmers - Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, team members and internal stakeholders - Proficiency in MS Office applications for reporting and analysis - Skill in analysing supply patterns and presenting findings to leadership - Deep knowledge of agricultural product quality standards and assessment What we're looking for: - Someone comfortable operating in farm-gate environments and village settings - A self-starter who can identify opportunities without constant direction - A detail-oriented professional who values accurate documentation - Someone who understands the importance of reliable supplier networks - A problem-solver who can balance cost, quality and timeline demands
