About the role: - Build backend systems collaboratively with the product team using Django, Django Rest Framework, and django-channels - Contribute to writing, testing, and documenting essential product features - Maintain code quality by adhering to industry-standard development practices What you'll work on: - Designing and implementing scalable APIs that serve multiple client applications - Writing clean, well-tested code and comprehensive documentation for the systems you build - Optimizing database queries and working with relational databases to improve performance - Using Git for version control, creating pull requests, and following the team's development workflow What we're looking for: - Solid grasp of Python and hands-on experience with Django, Django Rest Framework, and django-channels - Clear understanding of HTTP methods and RESTful API design principles - Knowledge of relational databases, including query optimization techniques - Ability to write and speak clearly; you'll document your code and collaborate with teammates regularly - Self-driven approach to work, with enthusiasm for tackling technical challenges and solving business problems creatively - Experience with AWS services like EC2 and RDS is a bonus - Proficiency with Git version control and familiarity with collaborative development practices Note: Please send resume along with details such as current Compensation, Expectation and Time required to Join
