About the role: - Build and maintain backend systems and services using Python for enterprise clients and internal solutions - Develop RESTful APIs that handle data processing, authentication, and integration with other systems - Write clean, maintainable code following software development best practices and established debugging methodologies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementations What you'll work on: - Backend application development using Python and object-oriented design principles - Database design and optimization with SQL, including schema creation and query performance tuning - Version control workflows using Git in team environments - Troubleshooting and resolving production and development issues through systematic debugging What we're looking for: - 0-1 years of professional or academic experience in software development - Solid grasp of Python fundamentals and core programming concepts - Understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures like arrays, trees, and linked lists - Knowledge of relational databases and SQL query writing - Familiarity with REST API design and consumption - Version control experience with Git or similar tools - Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve technical problems - Clear communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred experience: - Working with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI - Exposure to cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP - Hands-on experience with Docker containerization - Understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts and tools - Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed system design patterns
