Business Analyst - Intern

About the role: - Examine what clients need and what the business is trying to achieve, then break down those requirements into actionable insights - Study the competitive landscape, market conditions, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions - Gather business data from various sources, organize it systematically, and perform analysis to uncover patterns and opportunities - Create written reports and slide presentations that communicate your findings and recommendations to leadership and team members - Spot gaps in current operations and areas where the business can grow or improve its approach - Work alongside the sales team to provide market research, competitive intelligence, and data that supports their efforts - Review what clients are asking for and help shape solutions that match their needs - Liaise with different departments to grasp what each project requires and monitor how work is moving along - Keep detailed records of client needs, analytical findings, and all reports produced - Stay on top of shifts in the industry and track what competitors are doing - Contribute to the creation of business proposals and presentations for prospective clients - Present your analysis, conclusions, and next steps to managers and colleagues in clear, structured ways What you'll need: - Ability to break down business problems, ask the right questions, and find solutions through data - Skill in planning and carrying out research projects to gather market and industry intelligence - Strong written and verbal communication that gets your point across without confusion - Fluent spoken English to discuss findings and collaborate with team members - Fluent written English to draft reports, emails, and documentation - Proficiency with MS-Excel to manipulate data, build models, and visualize trends
